Blog Spawn Leaving Japan...
I'm finished. Wow, that was hard! I feel very comfortable on the keyboard, but I felt like a kindergartener with the journal! Go ahead and snicker at my pitiful printing...hard to believe I'm a designer for a living, isn't it?
Paige,
I had to cut a page out. I did a watercolor, and it bled through. So I tried to replicate it with colored pencils. No bleed through, but oh-my-God-get-that-girl-an-art-class! (Click on the images for bigger pictures, and you'll see what I mean. Aaaaah!)
But even though I'm embarrassed by my journal post, I had fun doing it, too. (Yes, where it says "Take One!" those are Hello Kitty post-it notes!) I can't wait to see what's next! Paige, where am I sending it, please?
p.s.--I have no small photo of me, and my printer is on the fritz! If I can get one printed, I will send it to BrandiPaige to stick somewhere on my post.

Where is your DNA?????
Awww CRAP! I knew I forgot something! I'll have to think of something between now and mailing it.
Got Annie's address this afternoon, and will mail it in the morning! (Hmmm...DNA....DNA....)
Fuck... Annie is next? Doesn't that mean I'm like... soon? Fuck.
Like... if we're going according to those who play well with others then I'm like... next?
Shit.
Damn you all and your high standards!
...I'm so fucked. I'm lowering the bar!
(psst... loved your pages too.)
YUP! You're next, girlfriend. Then Brooke. If you want to get together with Gary and move him up on the Ultimate Mailing Matrix (the one on my blog, not the one to your right, as I seem to be too lazy to poke around on the templates on 2 blogs...) I'm down with that. If he wants to wait and receive it after Wordgirl (Stacy) than I'm ok with that too.
Thanks for the kind words, Betty! I'm embarrassed at how bad I am with design when I'm not on the computer, but it was fun to do.
Brenda, I guess my DNA will have to be my "something personal"...the strands of silk yarn from the loom I stuck in the book. I still have a bad habit of putting the free ends in my mouth when sleying the reed on the loom, so maybe that counts? Ha ha! No creativity for me I guess. I'll have to look forward to seeing what other folks come up with. I think Candi and Brandi were clever with their "DNA"!
I promise to send a photo though. Or maybe I can send one electronically to someone else to print out and stick on my page?
Couldn't get to the base today to mail it...but my customs form is filled out, and I'll send it via Priority tomorrow morning.
Carolie-If you email me the picture, I'll print it out and put it on your page. I have a new printer that works, so far. Hopefully, placing that on your pages will help me figure out what to do on my pages. I have no ideas so far. Eeeek.
You rock, Annie! Thank you! I will e-mail it to you.
The journal is now in the care of the US Postal Service...yay!
The pressure, THE PRESSURE! Can messy baby fingerprints count as my DNA?
